Dr. Pig) soon discovers that treating patients takes a lot of patience. When he tries to bandage Cow’s hoof, he’s not very cooperative. And don’t even get Dr. Pig started on the chickens. Talk about peckish patients! Author Emily Gale perfectly captures the fun of playing pretend and the satisfaction of being yourself while Mark Marshall’s illustrations are just so darn cute. And, who knows, even though Say Ahhh! Finley Pig isn’t really about going to the doctor, it might just help you make your child’s next checkup that much more bearable!
